With two custom-renovated lower levels, gorgeous original details, and a newly landscaped garden with a waterfall, this West 87th Street townhouse was full of desirable features. However, differing levels of interior renovation posed a problem in a slow market.

Amid competing bids, Vandenberg created confidence for the eventual buyers by uniting them with their future neighbors at a Vandenberg-sponsored cocktail event. Only a few days later, their offer was accepted, and soon this sale closed at a terrific market price.
