Jane has been investing in, and managing, real estate for over thirty years. She and her husband Dexter founded Vandenberg in 1990 as an independent, residential real estate brokerage. Throughout the company’s early years, Jane worked in global advocacy organizations, with her career focused on brand development and content; direct mail, content marketing, and communications, from strategy to execution, as well as building organizational infrastructure.
Her skills helped advocates transform the global agenda by expanding women’s human rights at the UN International Conference on Population and Development in 1994. In 2000, Jane collaborated with Dexter to focus their brokerage solely on townhouses—their real estate passion. Together they transformed it into Vandenberg—The Townhouse Experts,® and formed a team of professionals collaborating seamlessly for the benefit of the client. Jane’s expertise in all-things marketing and communications, and her expertise in developing front- and back-stage systems, helped usher in Vandenberg as New York’s townhouse market leader.
